Alabama Family Child Care Association - ALFCCA

Mission Statement:

The Alabama Family Child Care Association (ALFCCA) is an organization dedicated to unite Alabama's Family Child Care providers in establishing higher quality standards, advocating for provider benefits, building and enhancing resources, and providing consistent support for local associations.

Objective & Purpose

Section 2.1 ALFCCA is incorporated and will be a non-profit, support organization promoting professionalism among all family child care providers in the State of Alabama.

Section 2.2 EDUCATION: ALFCCA will promote high quality standards of care through the development of educational programs and operational procedures which will enable the child care provider to more effectively provide a safe, nurturing and creative environment of the child.

Section 2.3 SUPPORT: ALFCCA will foster the development of local associations and establish a resource center to accommodate the present and future needs of the family child care provider.

Section 2.4PUBLIC RELATIONS: ALFCCA will advocate and support the education of parents, business, corporations and the communities of the State of Alabama in general, concerning quality home child care.

Section 2.5REGULATION: ALFCCA will participate with policy-making agencies (city, state and federal) to work for changes, modifications and implementation of standards necessary to provide quality home child care for all children.

Section 2.6ADVOCACY: ALFCCA will work to foster provider benefits and communication through united representation.
